At allen+roth, we have a deep appreciation for the natural resources that bring beauty and character to all of our products. That’s why we’re committed to conducting business in a manner that both protects the environment and safeguards public health and safety.
Throughout our product development and manufacturing processes, we proactively look for ways to reduce our global footprint. We work with our suppliers to encourage sustainable forestry practices. The particle board and plywood we use come from suppliers that meet the Composite Panel Association requirements for Environmentally Preferable Products, including formaldehyde emissions that comply with ANSI Standards.
We also utilize leading edge technologies to limit both hazardous and nonhazardous emissions, byproducts, and waste. Ongoing, formal programs identify opportunities for recycling and reusing materials. When waste ultimately requires disposal, steps are taken to minimize the environmental impact.
We’re also proud of the local service we provide. The majority of the U.S. population lives within 500 miles of one of our assembly plants. This proximity requires less transportation fuel, resulting in lower concentrations of emission in the distribution cycle.
Combined, these efforts have helped us earn the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) Environmental Stewardship certification on all products. The certification confirms our commitment to air quality, product resource management, process resource management, environmental stewardship and community relations.
